Welcome to Valerie McIntyre Photography. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 30 years. I won my first camera in a foot race at 9 years old. Since then I have loved photography. After college, I freelanced and opened my first successful studio in the 80’s. In 1994, I moved my studio to Columbia Falls, Montana and am only 14 miles from spectacular Glacier Park.
I’ve worked extensively with lighting and posing over the years and I continue to study with the top portrait artists in the country to keep up with the cutting edge trends in the portrait world. I specialize in families, children, High School Seniors, and pets. My goal is to provide you with a wonderful portrait experience and lovely custom portraits to treasure.
We are not like other portrait studios. My crew and I specialize in top quality, beautifully finished portrait art. Each image is color corrected, enhanced, and retouched so that everyone looks their very best. Your portraits are then sent to a pro-lab for printing to insure uncompromising quality and visual impact. We offer a large selection of products so you can display and cherish your portraits as family heirlooms. From gift size portraits and folios to framed wall portraits or canvas wraps and metals. We also design multiple image collages in different sizes and leather covered albums with artboard pages that you can pass down in your family. We produce fine art portraiture, so we don’t sell images on CD or the copyrights to images. We do give you images sized for social media of every image you order. We are dedicated to providing you with timeless keepsakes that express your family’s personalities and the loving bonds you have for each other.
